Snapdragon 778G 5G is official: a slightly different 780G

Qualcomm quietly revealed the new processor Snapdragon 778G 5G which is added to the already wide range of medium-range SoCs. This processor, for which the company has not yet added the official page, will be officially launched tomorrow. However, certain sources have already shared the processor data sheet. The Snapdragon 778G 5G (factory number SM7325) comes with a Custom Kryo 670 CPU with core Cortex-A78 which reaches 2.4 GHz. The SoC includes Adreno 642L graphics, which supports Vulkan 1.1, OpenGL 3S 3.1, OpenCL 2.0 FP, HDR10 + and HDR10. Smartphones equipped with the Snapdragon 778G chip can support a screen resolution of up to Full HD + with an update frequency of 144 Hz, color depth up to 10 bit and Rec2020 color gamut. For AI, it features the 770th generation Hexagon 12 processor AI engine that delivers XNUMX TOPS performance. For advanced games, it comes with the Snapdragon Elite gaming functionality.

In terms of ISPs, the Snapdragon 778G offers a triple 570-bit Spectra 14 ISP. It supports one single camera up to 192 megapixels and a system a dual camera up to 36 megapixels + 22 megapixels. Or a system a triple camera up to 22 megapixels. The ISP also supports photo capture in 10-bit HEIF / HEIC HDR format.
