Redmi K40 official teaser: we like the first specifications and the price

We just talked about yesterday Redmi K40, the next flagship of the homonymous house that will be the cheapest with Snapdragon 888. If until now we only knew of the launch period of this device, today morning the manager Lu Weibing started throwing information about him. In fact, through Weibo, the nice novelty piece of the company not only unveiled the price of the device (which will be absurdly low) but also the first specifications. It is battery, processor and a smallness that is escaping some, namely the front camera.

The first official information from Redmi K40 speaks of an ultra-powerful smartphone, with a large battery and probably a pop-up camera

In official teaser published on the Chinese social network just a few minutes ago, Lu Weibing begins to warm up the engines. Of Redmi K40 no one knows design and specifications in detail but himself today revealed some information. In particular he revealed to us that the battery of the next Redmi flagship will be higher than 4.000 mAh (probably from 4.500 up to 4.800 but we don't think it will be too high) and that its price will start at 2.999 yuan, at the current exchange rate 380 €. But this is not the only information we have of him.

Another specification that we are aware of is the processor, that is Snapdragon 888. This is already mounted on Xiaomi Mi 11 so we will not dwell on its capabilities. But it is the screen that interests us most of all. To date, the brand's namesake series has used a pop-up front camera. Users appreciated and would like to continue to see it equipped on smartphones. Apparently the company has listened to the requests in the teaser it is emphasized that there will be a screen "straight, flat"Among the most expensive ever used. This undoubtedly indicates i 120Hz refresh rate but we also think that there is no contamination of holes and notches. We hope that this year's flagship will continue to be equipped with one pop-up camera.
