Unfortunately, however, his arrival on the tech scene was not exactly the happiest, as at the moment in India it is blowing a bad air for Chinese companies in general, so much so that the government has banned some applications, such as TikTok but also Mi Video etc. therefore carrying the POCO M2 Pro in the eye of the storm due to the adoption of these apps pre-installed in the system.

So although the mid-range is equipped with very interesting technical specifications net of a more than honest price, many users may have doubts in the purchase and therefore the company has decided to run for cover. First of all POCO has published a letter of apology to the community, justifying the presence of such banned and pre-installed apps, as an error or better justified by the fact that the firmware was developed and installed before the application ban happened.

In any case, the company reassures that no data related to privacy and has not been collected and / or shared with anyone else, and adds that for the POCO M2 Pro will soon be released an update via OTA that will solve this slip, thus eliminating the applications subject to the Indian Government ban.

It is useless to enter into political discussions on the issue, but personally I find this situation decidedly unreasonable. Even the intervention of the Indian government, when there are many applications that we use daily and to which we give all our most intimate secrets, yet they go unpunished, such as Facebook.
