Well yes, there will be two variants of the new smartphone series mid-range. The first, the Standard, will not display the fingerprint sensor, while the High Edition will mount it on the back as already seen with Redmi Note 4.
Except for the sensor, the features will be almost the same on both configurations: processor Snapdragon 425 and battery from 3000 mAh, will come alongside both the version with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage (Standard) and the version with 3 GB of RAM memory and 32 GB of internal memory (High Edition).
Give me a brief personal opinion. The choice of the 425 SD processor pushes Xiaomi towards creating a low-cost mid range range, a bit like Redmi 4A compared to the excellent XMUMX Pro XmiXX Pro. Opting for a 4 GB + 2 GB combination, honestly, it is not permissible considering that by now the 16 GB of RAM memory is to be considered the minimum standard for not risking to find yourself with an obsolete device after a few months.
Another difference between the two variants will be the photographic sensors that will be so diverse:
- Standard version (2 / 16): Front 5 Mpx Camera and Back Camera from 13 Mpx
- High Edition version (3 / 32): Front 13 Mpx Camera and Back Camera from 16 Mpx
We do not know how to give you more indiscretions about it and even less we want to unbalance the launch prices, but we are sure that, as already seen with Redmi 4A, precursor of the company's most economic series, Xiaomi will continue to amaze us with an absolutely amazing price and why not, that can defeat the competition.
