This morning the well-known smartphone manufacturer Living officially announced that it will hold a launch event for the foldable series, tablets and other products at 19:00 on 20 April. Three new products will see the light of day that day: the Vivo X Fold 2, the Vivo X Flip and the Vivo Pad 2.

The brand also revealed some important information about the new tablet VivoPad 2. Specifically announced that the tablet is equipped with a brand new screen from 12,1 inches surrounded by four borders of the same thickness. We also discover that the panel has a 2,8K resolution, supports a high 144 Hz refresh rate and has been optimized to be a super-sensitive display to primary colors.
Not only that, this tablet also has two innovative technologies, the first is the Chip level smart anti blue light technology, with support for a frame-by-frame adjustment, which makes the screen more suitable for the eye, allowing us to look at it longer without straining the eyes. The second technology integrates the industry's first adaptive UI engine which can provide an efficient overview and thus save the user time.
As for the other specs, the Vivo Pad 2 will be powered by the Dimension 9000 processor by MediaTek. It is a high-end chip built on TSMC's 4nm manufacturing process. Compared with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 in terms of performance, the MediaTek Dimension 9000 is much more powerful. The chip will be available in two memory variants: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 512GB.
Recall that Vivo released its first Pad last year. The tablet was equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip, along with a large 16-inch 10:11 screen, 2.5K (2560×1600) resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its starting price was 2299 yuan (300 euros).
