The latest rumors from China suggest that Vivo is ready to present the next Vivo S9 5G. It will be a selfie-focused smartphone, like its predecessor, the Vivo S7 5G.
Vivo S9 5G: Leakster unveils the presentation date and some specifications
Well, today a Chinese leakster has just revealed that the Vivo S9 could become official on March 6, also sharing some key specifications of the smartphone.
According to the Chinese blogger, the Vivo S9 5G will be equipped with a 6,4-inch notch screen and could come with a dual 44-megapixel ultrawide selfie camera. Hence, it appears that the Vivo S9 5G may inherit the same 6,44-inch AMOLED screen as its predecessor.
The leak also states that the Vivo S9 5G will arrive on the market as the first smartphone with SoC Dimensity 1100 in the world. The Vivo V2072A has in fact already been caught on the Google Play Console site with the Dimensity 1100 chip and a large display with notch. Hence, it appears that the model number V2072A may belong to the Vivo S9 5G smartphone.
On Google Play we also found that the Vivo V2072A packs 12GB of RAM and the Android 11 operating system. Like the previous model, the device can come with up to 256GB of storage. Unfortunately, the other smartphone specifications are still unknown.
