Vivo Watch 3: the new smartwatch with BlueOS officially shown for the first time

Living, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has unveiled the design of its new smartwatch, the Vivo watch 3, which will be officially presented on November 13th. This is the first device to mount the operating system BlueOS, developed by Vivo itself, which promises to offer an intelligent, smooth and safe experience.

The Vivo Watch 3 has a round, minimalist design, with a metal frame and a variety of colored bands to choose from. The dial displays several functions, including the ability to answer calls, monitor health and use various applications.

The strong point of this smartwatch, however, is the Blue OS operating system, which is based on the capabilities of artificial intelligence models and supports new application development paradigms. Vivo claims that the Blue OS operating system can help users automatically write code, generate unique desktops, wallpapers, themes, etc.

The Blue OS operating system is written in the Rust language, which has advantages in terms of security, efficiency and maintainability. Windows and Linux kernels have also brought support for Rust. Vivo chose Rust because they saw its development prospects.

However, Vivo vice president Zhou Zhou clarified in a media interview that the Blue OS operating system is not compatible with Android applications. This means that users will have to rely on native applications or those developed specifically for the Blue OS operating system.

The Vivo Watch 3 therefore presents itself as an innovative and original smartwatch, which aims to differentiate itself from the competition and offer a new user experience. However, it will be necessary to see whether the Blue OS operating system will be able to meet the needs and expectations of users, and whether it will have sufficient support from application developers. The Vivo Watch 3 will be available on the market starting November 13th.
