As can be seen in the photo, the Vivo X Fold2 continues the classic “Huaxia red” color scheme. The red body adds a premium touch to the look of the device. We also recall that the blogger "Digital Chat Station" had revealed that the body of the Vivo X Fold2 would have been made of smooth leather together with a glass joint material, as well as the right side always in glass.
The blogger had also broken the news that the new phone comes with a Sony IMX866 50 megapixel main camera, which supports OIS anti-shake, complemented by a 663-megapixel Sony IMX12 ultra wide-angle and a 663-megapixel Sony IMX12 telephoto lens. However, judging by the actual picture of the smartphone, the telephoto camera does not appear to be present.
As for performance, the Vivo X Fold2 will be equipped with the flagship processor Snapdragon 8 Gen2. This chip adopts TSMC's advanced 4nm manufacturing process. Compared to the first generation Snapdragon 8, CPU performance has improved by 35% and energy efficiency has increased by 40%. GPU performance is increased by 25% and power efficiency is improved by 45%. At the same time, the smartphone comes with the new LPDDR5X RAM with a speed of up to 8533Mbps and UFS 4.0 type flash memory, with a reading speed of up to 4200Mbps.
As for the other specifications, the Vivo X Fold2 adopts one 6-inch Samsung E8 type internal screen with 2K resolution and supports a high refresh rate of 120Hz.
From the point of view of autonomy, the smartphone integrates a 4800mAh dual cell battery and supports the 120W flash charging.
