The month of March seems full of news for the world of foldable smartphones. After seeing the first leaks of the new Samsung models, now it's time to live show his cards with the series X-Fold3. Previous leaks have already piqued the curiosity of enthusiasts, but it is the recent leaked poster that provides the juiciest information on the technical specifications of these revolutionary devices.

Thanks to a poster leaked online, we can have a more precise idea of the technical characteristics of the two devices: the vivo and vivo. Both look like foldable books, with one 8,03-inch internal screen and a 6,53-inch external one. The main display is a panel Samsung E7 AMOLED with 2K resolution, maximum brightness of 3.000 nits and two ultrasonic fingerprint sensors, one for each side. The secondary display is an OLED with Full HD+ resolution.
But the real surprise concerns the design of the two leaflets, which are announced as the thinnest and lightest on the market. According to the poster, in fact, when opened, the vivo X Fold3 and the vivo the two foldables are lighter than a traditional bar phone, although the exact weight is not known.
Regarding the performances, the vivo it will be the first folding to mount the brand new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, Qualcomm's top of the range for 2024, while the vivo will be satisfied with the previous one Snapdragon 8 Gen2, however very powerful. Both devices will have up to 2 TB of internal storageae will support 5G connectivity.
The photographic sector will also be of a high level, with a triple back camera from 50 MP for the main sensor, the wide angle and the telephoto 2x. The Pro model will additionally have a 64 MP periscope module with 5x optical zoom. All cameras will have optical image stabilization and will be supported by vivo's proprietary imaging chip, the V3.
La battery will be from 5.500 mAh with support to 120W wired fast charging e 50W wireless. The operating system will be OriginOS 4 based on Android 14, with some features dedicated to leaflets. Finally, the two devices will be IPX8 certificates, i.e. water resistant up to 1,5 meters deep for 30 minutes.
The price of the X Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro is not yet official, but the former is rumored it will cost 7.999 yuan (approximately 1.017 euros) and the second 9.999 yuan (approximately 1.271 euros). The launch date is scheduled for the end of March, between the 26th and 28th. We just have to wait for confirmation from vivo.
