Living, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has unveiled the design of its new flagship model, the Vivo X100 Pro. A smartphone whose strengths are collaboration with Zeiss, the famous German brand of optics.

The vivo X100 Pro comes with a glass or leather body, Available at four colors: white, black, blue and orange. The blue color, in particular, recalls the Milky Way in space, as explained by vivo product manager Han Boxiao on Weibo, the popular Chinese social network. The phone has a curved design and a slightly rough texture, which makes it pleasant to touch and look at.
The most obvious feature of the vivo X100 Pro, however, is the rear camera module, which occupies a large part of the body. It is a circular ring that contains four sensors, including a Periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and digital 60x. The blue Zeiss logo stands out in the center of the ring, demonstrating the partnership between the two companies. The X100 Pro is in fact the first smartphone in the world to get the Zeiss APO standard certification, which guarantees superior optical quality and a reduction in chromatic aberrations. Furthermore, the phone is equipped with a imaging chip V3 developed by vivo, which improves image processing speed and stabilization.
On the performance front, the vivo X100 Pro does not disappoint. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor, a 6-nanometer chip with eight cores and a maximum frequency of 3 GHz. The processor supports 5G connectivity and offers smooth and powerful graphics. The X100 Pro also features a 5 GB LPDDR16T RAM memory, produced by Hynix, which ensures greater energy efficiency and lower latency. There internal memory is instead UFS 4.0, with a capacity of up to 1TB for the top version.
