Living, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has finally broken the silence and officially announced its new flagship series, the Vivo X100. The launch date has been set for 17th November, at 14pm local time. The X30 series will consist of two models, the Vivo X100 and the Vivo X100 Pro, both equipped with the Dimensity 100 processor, the latest and most powerful chip from MediaTek.
Vivo X100 series: the design revealed together with the presentation date
The X100 series presents itself with a renewed design compared to the previous X90 series, especially with regards to the rear camera module. This, in fact, abandons the stepped arrangement and is positioned in the center of the body, with three lenses arranged vertically. There main camera will be equipped with a 920 megapixel IMX108 sensor, which promises exceptional image quality. The Pro model will also have a lens 12 megapixel ultra-wide angle with IMX663 sensor and 64 megapixel periscope lens with 5x optical zoom.
The X100 series will not only shine in photographic performance, but also in overall performance. The Dimension 9300 processor it is in fact one of the most advanced on the market, with a maximum frequency of 3 GHz and a Mali-G78 GPU. The chip also supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The RAM memory will be 8 or 12 GB, while the storage space will be 128 or 256 GB.
The battery will be another strong point of the X100 series. The standard model will have a capacity of 5100 mAh and will support 120W fast charging, while the Pro model will have a 5400 mAh and will support both 100W fast charging than that 50W wireless. Both models will have one AMOLED screen from 6,7 inches with Full HD+ resolution and refresh rate to 120 Hz.
The X100 series will be available in four colors: original black, Chinese red, orange and advertising green. The latter was first introduced on the X90s series and was very popular among consumers. The price of the X100 series has not yet been revealed, but it is assumed that it will be very competitive compared to the competition.
