Vivo Y78+ unveiled in China: Snapdragon 695 processor and 6,78 "OLED 120Hz screen at €240

According to the latest from China, a new smartphone from the Vivo brand has just been uploaded to the official website of the China Telecom telephone provider, revealing the name, specifications and price.

As we can see in the image above, Vivo's smartphone has been loaded with the model number “V2271A”, poco below it is also confirmed that it is the Vivo Y78 + and that the device has a starting price of 1799 yuan, about 240 euros at current exchange rates.

Going to the specifications, the page shows us that the Vivo Y78+ comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. This chip uses a 6nm manufacturing process and is octa-core, with two 78GHz Cortex-A2,2 big cores and six 55GHz Cortex-A1,8 small cores.

The hardware just mentioned powers a big screen with a diagonal of 6,78 inches and curved edges. The panel is of the OLED type, supports a Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080) and a 120Hz refresh rate. While for the photos we find one 50MP rear camera, along with a 2MP macro sensor, up front is an 8MP lens.

In terms of autonomy and charging, the new Vivo Y78+ comes with one built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging.

Other specifications aboard Vivo's Y78+ include an under-screen fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C 2.0 port and it is equipped with the OriginOS operating system based on Android 13. The smartphone will be available in 3 color options: sky blue, moon shadow black and warm sun gold

Finally, regarding prices, the Vivo Y78+ will be launched in China with a starting price of 1799 yuan (240 euros) for the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Then we have the version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory at the price of 2199 yuan and the one with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory at the price of 2299 yuan.
