The latest Xiaomi smartphone and tablet receive ARCore support for augmented reality

The latest smartphone of the brand, that is Xiaomi 11t and the latest tablet, that is Xiaomi pad 5, have "updated" in the last few hours. In reality it is not a real update that has arrived, but a support. Let's talk about the support a Google ARCore, that is the service that allows a device to use applications of augmented reality which, in turn, use a camera. Well, let's see the certification and in detail what Google ARCore allows to do.

Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi Pad 5 are the last two devices of the brand to have received support for Google ARCore. Here's what it means

For completeness of information we remind you that Arcore it was at the beginning an application downloadable from the Play Store while now, since Google determines which smartphones support certain services, it is integrated into the devices. The only thing that allows or does not allow them to be used is precisely the Google "certification". Apparently too Xiaomi 11t e Pad 5 can, from today, use these services to take advantage of augmented reality through the use of the cameras of the device. Think of the game Pokémon Go for example, with which it is possible to capture the colorful monsters using augmented reality.

Pokémon Go, however, is not the only application that can be used with these services for augmented reality. We also remember the far more important ones Google Maps Live View, The Google search 3D animals. Unlike other devices like Redmi Note 9S, support on the POCOPHONE arrived in record time. To be fair, however, we must remember one thing: the delay is not due to Xiaomi or the company of the same name, indeed, for once the manufacturing company is not attributable to anything. It is the Mountain View giant that decides to issue the authorization and "access keys".

All summarized: from today these devices can use (but even before they could in reality) augmented reality services via camera.
