In March of last year, Xiaomi released its first large super flagship under the name of Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. One of the most premium smartphones ever released by the brand, from the point of view of performance, design and photography. Now that we are approaching the month of March, many are eagerly awaiting the debut of the next Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra will have a Samsung 2K screen with a hole in the center (Leak)
Well, today the well-known Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station reveals the specifications of the screen on the prototype of the phone. In particular he revealed that: "The prototype I saw some time ago had a Samsung 2k screen with a single hole in the center". While the screen design of the device should be similar to the previous Xiaomi 12 series.
Recall that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra has the code name l1 and could go even further in terms of display quality. Also, based on currently known information, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will still use the 8nm Samsung Snapdragon 1 Gen4 chip, so the gap with Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro shouldn't be too big and the same goes for the display upgrade that doesn't it should be so different. All this suggests that once again the major changes aboard the Mi 12 Ultra mainly concern the photographic sector.
Previously it was reported that the smartphone will continue to be equipped with a periscope telephoto lens, with a high resolution 5x telephoto lens for very high quality images, also thanks to some new technologies developed independently by Xiaomi.
Furthermore, there is a lot of news that the phone will be developed in a collaboration with Leica and will become Xiaomi's first Leica-certified high-end flagship smartphone. Which will bring huge improvements in the camera sector.
