After presenting the Xiaomi 12 series last December, the Chinese technology giant is getting closer to the launch of the device that the brand has dubbed "Super Cup" and which could come under the name of Xiaomi 12 Ultra. In this regard, today the well-known Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station unveiled the first parameters of its camera sector.

Specifically, Digital Chat Station revealed that the Xiaomi “Super Cup” will have a total of three rear cameras, including a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultra wide angle camera and a 48MP telephoto lens. Additionally, the main camera and telephoto lens support OIS optical image stabilization, with the second also supporting digital zoom of up to 120x.
Not only that, according to previous leaks, for the next Xiaomi flagship it will collaborate with Leica, so the smartphone will be equipped with an imaging system built jointly by Xiaomi and Leica.
Recall that in previous years Leica has collaborated with Huawei, bringing the high quality of the photographic sector in the field of telephony. Thanks to this collaboration, Huawei has grown dramatically in the field of mobile photography. At the same time, Huawei has enhanced its brand influence and successfully established itself in the ultra-high-end phone market.
Now that Xiaomi has started collaborating with Leica, we expect the quality of the photos to continue to increase. Furthermore, considering that many Xiaomi models have previously dominated the DxOMark list, it is quite likely that, with the help of Leica, the next Xiaomi Super Cup super flagship will once again dominate the DxOMark rankings.
Finally, the other known specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra include a 2K AMOLED screen and the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. The smartphone could debut in March.
