Along with the new Android customization MIUI 14, flagship smartphones were also presented in China Xiaomi 13 e 13 Pro. As announced by the company, the two smartphones will arrive both in China and in the Global version with the skin out of the box. This means that as of March 2023, we may be looking forward to both. The devices are equipped with a high-end processor, the faster memory, advanced screens and high-quality cameras (given the huge module). Let's see them together.

Xiaomi 13 Pro features a display AMOLED E6 from 6,78 " with 2K resolution, LTPO technology, dynamic refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz and a PWM dimming frequency at 1920Hz to reduce flicker. The display is curved at the sides and covered with Gorilla Glass Victus tempered glass, unlike the standard model characterized by a flat screen. The smartphone is equipped with the new flagship processor Snapdragon 8 Gen2 and also uses the fastest memory chips: RAM LPDDR5X (up to 12GB) and UFS 4.0 memory (up to 512GB). To top it all off there is one battery from 4820 mAh. Declared support for fast charging from 120w, which allows you to recharge energy in 19 minutes, and wireless 50W, using which you can get 100% recharge in 36 minutes.
Let's move on to the photographic sector. Xiaomi 13 Pro has three cameras of 50 megapixels each. The main module is equipped with a Sony IMX989 sensor from 1 inch with 8-lens objective, f/1.9 aperture and system of HyperOIS optical stabilization. The camera itself allows you to take pictures with a double zoom with a resolution of 12,5 megapixels without loss of quality. The second camera is a 75mm equivalent focal length telephoto camera with optical stabilization, providing 3,2x optical zoom. The whole module uses a “floating” lens system, which allows you to change the focal length and take macro photos with a 3,2x zoom from a distance of 10cm. Finally, the ultra wide-angle camera lets you shoot with a 115 degree field of view. All of this is complemented by Leica customization and the German company's processing algorithms.
The standard model Xiaomi 13 is made in a slightly different design with one screen without curves and flat side edges. It has a 6.36 ″ display with the same AMOLED E6 screen and brightness up to 1900 nits, but with Full HD + resolution and without the possibility of lowering the refresh rate to 1 Hz. Xiaomi is particularly proud of the fact that the bezels of the Xiaomi 13 are noticeably slimmer on all sides than the iPhone 14. The processor and memory are the same as the Pro version. The battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh and supports wired reverse charging from 67w, 50W and 10W wireless.
All three cameras of Xiaomi 13 are simpler than the Pro model. The main sensor is a "simple" Sony IMX800 from 50 megapixel with HyperOIS optical stabilization and f/1.8 lens aperture. The secondary camera has a resolution of 10 megapixel, optical stabilization and provides a 3,2x zoom. The target 12 megapixel ultra wide angle it allows us to take pictures with a field of view of 120 degrees.
Both smartphones support contactless payment via NFC chip, have stereo speakers and are officially protected from water according to the IP68 standard. This is a security for users who have been asking for such a feature since time immemorial. But this, of course, involves a price increase. Indeed in China the Xiaomi 13 starts from € 570 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro starts from € 720 (at current exchange rates).
