Xiaomi 14 Ultra: the price for Europe revealed, it is close to that of the predecessor
The two models will be presented on February 25 at MWC 2024 in Barcelona, the most important world fair dedicated to mobile telephony. But before the official debut, some details on the prices and technical specifications of the two smartphones have been leaked.
According to some rumors, it Xiaomi 14 will have a price of 1099 euros for the version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. This is a high price, but in line with that of direct competitors, such as the Samsung Galaxy S24 or the iPhone 14.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, however, will be the real flagship of the Chinese company, with truly top-of-the-range features. The price will consequently be higher, but not yet well defined. According to a report by dealabs, the 14 Ultra will cost around 1499 euros, the same launch price as the previous Xiaomi 13 Ultra. This information contradicts a previous leak that indicated a price of 1699 euros for the Ultra model.
What will be the features that justify the high price of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra? Apparently, the device will have one 6,73-inch OLED screen with 2K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the most powerful on the market. Furthermore, it will have 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of UFS 4.0 internal memorya 5.300 mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, and will run on Android 14 with the custom HyperOS interface.
But the real strong point of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be the photographic sector, which promises to be the best ever. Your phone will have a 32 megapixel front camera, while on the back it will have four cameras of 50 megapixels each, with variable aperture, wide angle, and two optical zooms of 3,2x and 5x, all equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS).
Now we just have to wait for the official presentation to find out if the features will be confirmed and if the price will be competitive.
