It is not the first time that we tell you about the Xiaomi binomial - Windows 10, also in virtue of the fact that the Chinese company has been producing and proposing laptops to their public for over a year, which have been in direct competition with the most successful brands in the sector. It is already well known also that Samsung is working to bring Qualcomm's processor to its notebooks, but perhaps not everyone knows that Xiaomi is also working on this aspect.
So far we have witnessed the Xiaomi notebook with Intel processor, but Qualcomm promises excellent battery life and even more amazing performance, but above all one better management of the Always Connect function, since the broadband and mobile plans market is becoming (not for all) ever more accessible. This also means that the various PCs always connected must necessarily have characteristics such as an excellent battery life and no noise about the fan.
The Chinese company has just begun to take its first steps in Europe and certainly, despite the top-up expected to support physical and third-party stores, it sells its fantastic smartphones at much cheaper prices than anyone else. It goes without saying that when Xiaomi brings the Qualcomm processor to its machines equipped with the Windows 10 operating system it will be able to offer a cheaper product compared to Asus, HP, Lenovo and Samsung's future machines.
At the moment no further rumors about the date of implementation have emerged, but times should not be too far whereas the company Qualcomm announced the collaboration with Windows 10 about the use of its Snapdragon processors during the conference Microsoft Windows Hardware Engineering Community (WinHEC) a year ago in Shenzen, China. During that event, a demonstration was shown on a fanless prototype laptop, which was powered by a Snapdragon processor, as you can see from the video below.
