This emergency concerns the expansion of a virus, belonging to the coronavirus family, which shares 90% of the genetic heritage with the best known SARS. Xiaomi, in its small way, helps users by giving them a useful tool from the information point of view: thanks to a service similar to that seen for earthquakes, the voice assistant integrated in the MIUI XiaoAi allows you to be informed in real time about the situation of the aforementioned Chinese virus. We see below how.
Xiaomi warns in real time on the situation of the Chinese virus with XiaoAi
Today at noon, Xiaomi officially stated that XiaoAi added a sort of feature called "Real-time pneumonia outbreak card”Among the quick links. We can see what we are talking about in the image below.
To be precise it is the red box that we see on the right, just below the tab dedicated to cleaning the device. Recognizable by the symbol of the lungs, the XiaoAi feature allows you to view information about the outbreak in real time using precisely the voice assistant. Indeed, to facilitate everything there is also the relative voice function: saying “real-time pneumonia outbreak”(Since pneumonia is one of the problems that the Chinese virus can cause) the user will be immediately updated about the news related to the coronavirus.
Unfortunately this feature is exclusive to China devices, since it is only usable for those who have XiaoAi. Even if any of you had a device in this wing, they can only be updated on the situation in China and not, alas, in Europe or Italy.
The situation is really serious and theemergency is on a global scale. It is out of our task to do it, but in any case we recommend to always keep updated about the developments of the virus.
