How many ask for a smartphone Xiaomi compact? And how many of us have been satisfied? Few, we admit it, but maybe with Xiaomi 13 Lite the company has been able to meet someone. Of course, the price is not low ... but that's okay, let's wait for the Redmi. In China, however, the Chinese giant has decided to cater to a particular slice of users: students. So here is born Xiaomi Qin 3 Ultra, an ultra compact a poco.
Official Xiaomi Qin 3 Ultra: 5-inch smartphone for students at €250. All good, except that it's only for China. Darnit!
The Xiaomi family of compact smartphones has been expanded with an unusual model called Qin 3 Ultra. In terms of size, the device is comparable to iPhone 5, however it has a significantly larger screen. The novelty is positioned as a “student” smartphone that will not distract its owner from studying. Xiaomi Qin 3 Ultra is equipped with a processor MediaTek Helio G99 and is available in a single 8GB – 256GB configuration. The diagonal of the display is 5.02″ (1520×720 pixels).
A front camera from 5 megapixel is embedded in the upper left corner of the matrix. The resolution of the main camera is 8 megapixel. Furthermore, the smartphone equips a fingerprint scanner in the power button, a Type-C connector and a battery from 2500 mAh which allows up to seven days of standby time. On one of the advertising posters, the manufacturer notes that the device “is able to deprive a teenager of addiction to short videos, games and the Internet“. The secret lies in the firmware of the Android 12-based device: lo integrated store does not allow to install “extra” software.
Xiaomi Qin 3 Ultra is made in a plastic case measuring 126.8 x 61.85 x 8.7 mm and weighing 118 g. The novelty has already been put in sale in China for 250 €. There is still no information on the availability of the smartphone outside the internal market but we are sure that it will not arrive in Europe.
