That Xiaomi is the most important reality in China in the field of smartphones we know for some time but, thanks to AnTuTu and its latest rankings related to the Q1 2016, we have further proof. The makers of the most popular benchmark test on Android have in fact published the classics referred to the smartphones on which they have been tried several times their own tests. The rankings take into account both specific markets and the whole world.
Starting with the Chinese market ranking, in the first quarter of the 2016 it was Xiaomi Redmi 3 with the 11,64% of the total. Very far we find the Xiaomi Mi4 in second position with the 4,45% of the total and just below the Xiaomi Mi4C with the 4,05%. As you can see, the first three positions are entirely occupied by Xiaomi smartphones. Among other devices produced by Xiaomi we find Mi Note Pro in eighth position and Xiaomi Mi3 in tenth position.
Expanding the analysis to the markets around the world, the cards on the table change drastically, dropping Xiaomi and its smartphones not only down from the podium but also down from the first 5 positions that, in this case, are occupied by Samsung smartphones. The first Xiaomi device, the Redmi Note 3, we find it in sixth place with the 2,63% of the total and soon after we find the Redmi Note 2 with the 2,57% of the total.
Of course, the big gap in the world ranking is due to the fact that Xiaomi does not operate in the same markets where Samsung operates, practically practically anywhere. Although it would be difficult to beat Samsung, we believe that Xiaomi, if it would operate all over the world in an official manner, would at least have seriously jeopardized the top three positions.
