Xiaomi and the new rumors about proprietary SoCs

The natural evolution that the largest smartphone manufacturers have had is at the time culminating in the development of proprietary SoCs with which to better optimize their smartphones at the same time while cutting down costs (in the long run) and reducing supplier dependency external (Mediatek, Qualcomm, Nvidia and others). This step has already been done by Samsung, Apple, Huawei and LG. Miss Xiaomi is missing, but he could soon take this step and rely on SoC owners.

It is absolutely not the first time that we talk about this, with some information already emerged in the August of 2015 | More information about the Xiaomi SoC owners next year |. Recently, however, new rumors emerged on the net that Xiaomi is already about to embrace these SoCs in some new smartphones coming out in recent months. Probably they will belong to the low end as the development of high-end SoCs requires a lot of time and refinement of production processes while in the low end it can already count on the know-how of Leadcore, a company that would physically deal with production.

In short, Xiaomi's 2016 stands out as one of the most interesting years since its (fairly recent) foundation. Recall that in fact, in addition to the long-awaited Mi5, Xiaomi should present a notebook with on board the Linux operating system | Xiaomi Mi Laptop and the alleged technical specifications | and become part of the air drone sector Will Xiaomi's drone be checking with Mi Band? |.
