A few months ago, to be precise the 23 January of the 2019, Xiaomi has released the video of a concept phone with a folding screen perhaps more interesting than ever. As some of you will remember, the Xiaomi Foldable Phone (let's call it that for the moment) could be transformed from a mobile phone to a tablet in just a few seconds by folding the two sides.
In addition to this dual fold mechanism, the Xiaomi concept also had fairly thin edges compared to other devices presented by Samsung and Huawei in recent months.
Well, as you will already have understood from the title, Xiaomi today shows us again this concept in another short video that continues to feed our interest. Scroll down to watch the video too!
Xiaomi Foldable Phone appears in a new video
Here, now that you've seen it, we can't help but assume that you have fallen in love like us. The design is the most futuristic ever seen to date and yet the smartphone seems to work perfectly. Or you go from a full-screen application (Weibo) to the main screen with the gesture that we already have on the MIUI 10, the device then goes into smartphone mode to use only the central part of the screen with all the close-up applications.

The only negative note is perhaps the thickness that seems very high compared to those to which Xiaomi herself has accustomed us in recent years. We are sure, however, that many would turn a blind eye to a smartphone that turns into a tablet with a diagonal of about 10 inches (our speculations).
Fold-away display aside, we don't know much about the rest of the hardware but we expect some very important components, like the powerful Snapdragon 855 processor, at least 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal memory and much more.
