Once again let's go back to talking about Xiaomi Mi 10, because it seems right to specify some things, or rather the price argument. In fact, although the global version has not yet been made official, many have complained that the price list to which Xiaomi has decided to offer its latest flagship is far too high compared to the standards to which it had accustomed us, so much so that many have always praised the excellent quality / price ratio of the Asian brand.
Xiaomi Mi 10 and its Pro variant have definitely made a qualitative and premium leap in terms of technology and hardware used. Just the latter is responsible for the final price which is making the nose turn to many, who probably ignore the reality of how much the hardware used inside the smartphone is actually expensive. I do not want to make any controversy about the fact that then in reality, these are the same people who then justify an expenditure of over 1200 euros for Apple devices net of software and hardware shortcomings and imperfections (here I actually made controversy and I apologize ). In addition to the previous declarations of the Xiaomi management regarding the final price of the smartphone, the well-known blogger IceUniverse also helps us, who through a tweet reveals the price of some components used for the production of Xiaomi Mi 10. This hardware in some cases has a cost of 3 times higher than standard solutions such as that of the curved display used on the Chinese flagship which reports a cost of 90 dollars compared to the 30 required for a conventional screen.
Xiaomi Mi 10 curved screen costs $ 90, and other flat screens are only $ 30. In addition, Xiaomi's 108MP sensor costs $ 50 and 48MP costs $ 13. Snapdragon 865 and 5G basebands cost twice as much as 855!

The same goes for the Snapdragon 865 CPU (estimated cost about $ 100), a chipset that implies support for 5G connectivity and which has seen a doubling of cost compared to the performing Snapdragon 855 (estimated cost about $ 50).
