For some weeks we have been talking about the next Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra that could arrive within this month. The Xiaomi flagship should go to equip all the best hardware in circulation, becoming the flagship smartphone of the brand for this 2020. But will it really be so?
Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra may not adopt the new Snapdragon 865 Plus
A famous Chinese leakster who goes with the nickname of Digital Chat Station would have just revealed that in reality the device nicknamed Xiaomi Mi 10 "Super Large Cup" (or Mi 10 Ultra) will not be equipped with Qualcomm's new chipset, the Snapdragon 865 Plus. Adding further that the smartphone adopts a CPU with a clock frequency of 2,84Ghz, it therefore corresponds to the Snapdragon 865 and not the Plus version which instead has a clock that reaches up to 3,09Ghz.
Digital Chat Station then specified that Qualcomm's branch in China is not yet able to produce the new chipset and this would be the real reason behind the lack of Xiaomi. Other smartphones arriving with Snapdragon 865 Plus such as the next ASUS ROG Phone 3 and the Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone Pro instead they will use chips produced outside the Asian country.
As for the other specifications of the Xiaomi device, the co-founder of the brand, Lei Jun, shared some of the specifications that he believes a flagship should have on the Chinese social network Weibo. These will most likely be the same specs that we will find on the Mi 10 Ultra.
We will therefore find a stereo speaker system for more immersive audio, a linear X-Axis motor for a stronger and stronger vibration. There will also be an upgrade of the display from 90Hz of the Mi 10 to 120Hz, front and rear sensors to set the brightness automatically and precisely, a rear camera with 30x or more telephoto zoom and a cooling system with steam chamber.
Finally, the battery should have a capacity of at least 4500mAh, with support for wireless charging, there will be an infrared emitter, NFC and, oddly enough, also a 3.5mm audio jack.
What do you think of the specifications shared by Lei Jun? Would you like to find them on the Mi 10 Ultra? Let us know in the comments section below!
