Xiaomi today does not stop a second and a short distance from the presentation of Xiaomi Mi 5 | Xiaomi Mi 5 official | took place at the MWC in Barcelona, at the same time but in China, another member of the Mi family was presented, that is an aesthetically revised and enhanced version of the former top of the range, the Xiaomi Mi 4. Officially welcome the Xiaomi Mi 4S.
Aesthetically there are many new features compared to the other variants. First of all is the presence of a side frame in rounded metal (the Mi 4 was rectangular, brick style) and the presence on the back of the glass instead of polycarbonate. Moreover, always in the back of the device, there is the presence of a fingerprint sensor, which was missing in the Mi 4.

In addition to this, we find support for Quick Charge 2.0, USB Type-C, support for 4G + networks and VoLTE (voice calls via LTE in high definition) and the latest MIUI 7 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. And all this at a competitive price of only 1699 RMB, or 237 €. Furthermore, as happened for the Xiaomi Mi Note, a special version dedicated to the ladies in pink color was also made this time. Of course it will also be available in black, white and gold colors. The device is already available for pre-order in China and will be officially sold from 1 March (also in China) but for now there are no timelines for other markets.
