An important news for Xiaomi Mi 8 and MIUI 12.5

A while ago we saw that Xiaomi Mi 8 will receive MIUI 12.5, as well as Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S, Mi MIX 3 e Mi 8 Explorer Edition. But when will this update arrive at the end of the fair? We are all asking ourselves this, especially those users who are in possession of an old glory, which does not want to know about dying (we are referring to the indestructible Mi 8). Well, Zhang Guoquan, a manager of the company, said that the update is in the "adaptation" phase. What does it mean? Let's try to find out together.

Will Xiaomi Mi 8 receive MIUI 12.5? We know the answer is yes, but when will it arrive? In the nineties of the company unveils an interesting novelty

As communicated by Chinese sources, Xiaomi Mi 8 will really receive MIUI 12.5. However, we all wonder when this will arrive. Apparently, according to what we understand from the words of Zhang Guoquan, the update (at least for China) shouldn't be delayed. In fact, the MIUI 12.5 for Xiaomi Mi 8 is in "adaptation phase". What does it mean? In our opinion it means that the update is in the beta test phase and is in the hands of the developers to see how it runs on the device. We could essentially say that it is in a phase "Closed Beta".

But will the MIUI 12.5 for Xiaomi Mi 8 also arrive for us? We are confident that the update will arrive in the near future also to smartphones with Global and European ROMs. However, let's not forget that at the moment Xiaomi is releasing MIUI 12.5 for many other devices. It has indeed started the rollout several days in advance compared to what was promised: we are talking about May instead of June. This certainly can only please users who have been waiting for the update from last year.

Unfortunately, however, not all that glitters is gold: all the news that the Mi 8 will receive will not be the same that European users will be able to see on the Chinese ROM. We know in fact that le perks of ROM China are better (and greater in quantity) than those of ROM Global. The fault lies primarily with Google, but perhaps not with you alone.
