Lo Xiaomi Mi 9T is one of the brand's most unfortunate smartphones, like Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G. Both devices have not received updates for a long time and in particular the first one cannot see the long-awaited package of the MIUI 12. This, however, is not the only concern that this device has to face like many others. There is in particular an fobnoxious bug regarding the notification bar and the dark theme which, for a long time, still has not been resolved. Many have never reported it but apparently it exists on several smartphones.
The bug that darkens the notification bar, making it impossible to read them, is not a problem affecting only Xiaomi Mi 9T and MIUI 12
The Piunikaweb team reports that on several units of Xiaomi Mi 9T equipped with MIUI 12, there is a very annoying bug. This provides that the notification bar at the top of the display you suddenly and inexplicably become dark. This leads to the impossibility sometimes (but always the difficulty) to see if a notification has actually arrived. Actually too all the data in the upper left and right corner, such as battery, time and WiFi signal become illegible.
As you can see above on the photo, the gray bar does not allow you to read the data on the right and left. As anticipated poco ago, the problem does not persist only on this model and not even on this version of MIUI. In fact, we have also noticed the same bug on ours Xiaomi Mi 8 updated to MIUI 11 (version 11.0.5.0). As far as we know, other models of Xiaomi smartphones suffer from this bug and only a software update can solve it. The problem has been reported to the Global Community of the brand that took charge of the problem and turned it over to the developer team.
We just have to wait for an official fix.
ps: apparently one thing needs to be clarified: not all units have this problem. If your device doesn't have this bug it doesn't mean the problem doesn't exist. The bug was reported by the Mi Community Global (source found at the end of the article) and it is not our invention.

I received it today, the stable 12.0.3, I noticed that the bug, if it is a bug, shows up only with blue-blue backgrounds, in practice on that shade, for the rest no problem
I am genuinely amazed by this article.
In the first place, I too received my 12 and, apart from a few small issues, I didn't notice any critical or annoying bugs.
I would also add that in the previous months there had been some minor updates of the 11 and never at any time did I feel “abandoned”.
My opinion is that the Mi 9t is anything but an unfortunate device, indeed I would say exactly the opposite and, to clarify, I use Xiaomi devices from the MI4.
Everon, it's no secret that many users are dissatisfied with this device. The fact that you are satisfied does not mean that the problem does not exist. This is what I was trying to communicate to the other user who preferred to attack rather than communicate civilly.
The reports are there, they are public, we have not invented anything 😅 it is absurd to think that ALL the BLOGs that deal with this problem have invented this story. Or it's just an attack on us, which I think it is.
I, yesterday morning received 12.0.3 on Global stock, Mi International and I don't find (for now) any bug / lag (for my use) I am more and more convinced, that MI International, of EEA (Europe) is better I don't know if that's really the case, but I'm happy to have the International (MI)
How do you write in the same article that the 9T does not receive the update to MIUI12 and that it has a problem that occurs with MIUI12? Agghhh
The problem concerns some units (as written in the article) obviously those that have received the update.
“It has not received updates for a long time” in one month I received the update 11.0.6.0, the MIUI 12 version 12.0.2.0 and poco after 12.0.3.0 with the July patches. “Unfortunate” smartphone. I would sign for always being so unlucky. On top of that it looks great and is bug free and what you are talking about is a trivial fake bug that only shows up in black band videos and adjusts colors right after.
What professionalism, what correct information you use to write fake articles, without verifying the sources.
On Friday morning I received the MIUI 12 on my Mi9T. Updated and then reset to factory data, the phone runs great, far smoother than before. No bugs to report.
Great way, give us some feedback if you have something to report in the future!
In the meantime, keep writing bestiality freely.
If you followed the events of Xiaomi Mi 9T instead of stopping at your experience alone, you would know that many have not yet received the update to MIUI 12. Next time we will be more careful not to write things that may bother you. In any case the sources are there, AS ALWAYS, at the end of the article and they are reliable sources: I suggest you take a look at them.
Who did not receive it? I follow the events constantly and correctly on the community and through serious articles, not from questionable Indian sources. Almost all those who have the MI 9T have received the updates and in any case to say that the owners are unlucky, in practice as if it had been abandoned (see the combination of Mi Mix 3 5G), it is pure misinformation as well as throwing mud, as often it happens with your misleading copy / paste articles. It is time to remove the link to "Xiaomi" from the name of your site. You have fallen so low that the next step will take you... Read the rest »
Source is the official global community, no Indian. Having said that, that's enough because your impatience towards us can be resolved by stopping following us instead of continuing to spit out judgments.
Please write these comments to the other blogs that have dealt with the problem. Or are you just mad at us?
The source (related to the phantom bug and not connected to the updates) was posted on the community following the "way" of an Indian site. It is also written in the appendix to your bad article. There is no need to interview any user since the stable update (not beta or release candidate) to MIUI 12 has been officially published by Xiaomi and free to be downloaded and installed by anyone. Obviously I do not follow you nor it is my intention to do so, but where I happen to accidentally read defamatory articles (because this is what it is) it is my use to point it out on... Surely because almost all blogs live off sponsorships, looting and clickbait, putting aside preparation, in-depth analysis and professional ethics, only the click counts and protecting their "sponsors". You see that you are already aware of how it works as you already foresee that many others will copy / paste.
i received it 5 days ago the miui 12 on my mi9t
