Xiaomi Mi A1 integrates a hidden function ... perhaps a ROM BUG

Xiaomi Mi A1 now belongs to the smartphone with operating system Android One, providing the user with the experience of using the Android Stock system with future updates guaranteed directly by Google's mother. Basic The Xiaomi Mi A1 uses the same hardware and design of Mi 5X (find the review here) but with the implementation of support for well-known 43 world bands including the 20 to 800 mHz bandwidth.

An interesting feature of the smartphone has not been advertised, namely the fact that the Xiaomi Mi A1 it implements the possibility of being unlocked by the recognition of the face, possibly less secure than fingerprint release, but still worth considering that there are still few smartphones to support that feature.

It is possible to activate the function "Trusted Face" going to the menu Settings -> Security -> Smart Lock, then follow the instructions provided by the system to unlock the device through face recognition. At this point, you can see the icon for this function from the screen lock screen.

Interesting function but maybe it is a ROM bug as the unlock does not bring directly to the phone's home but shows the password again to unlock the device. In addition, the facelift feature on Mi A1 appears to suffer from the defect we have used in smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S8, with which it is you can bypass the unlock with a photo. In fact, the video below clearly shows how the Mi A1 smartphone is easily fooled by a photo shown on the display of another smartphone.
