By now we are, or almost. In fact, the promises of the release of the new Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 for the month of October seem to be questioned by the latest rumors from China. Apparently everything we have seen so far, like the video showing the alleged Mi Mix 3 with sled design, they seem not to belong to the top of the range but rather to a similar terminal that however responds to the name of Xiaomi Mi LEX.
Will the Xiaomi Mi LEX take the place of Mi Mix 3?
We point out that everything is based on rumors and alleged leak, which the company has never confirmed, but according to the latest rumors Xiaomi will market its first full-screen smartphone with sliding body with the name of Mi LEX. The name sounds very similar to NEX, the Vivo home device, and so it could all turn out to be just a rumor. But this could mean that Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will be even more spectacular and that the company has some tricks up its sleeve to play to recreate the WOW effect obtained with the first generation of the device.
Unfortunately, all these rumors become difficult to keep up, and what we know of Xiaomi Mi LEX is just that this will adopt a side key dedicated to the voice assistant Xiao AI with the possibility of associating a dedicated function with the double pressing of the key. But for another device with such a design, it seems strange that Xiaomi does not use even top-end hardware components, such as the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, 6 / 8 GB of RAM and at least 128 / 256 GB of internal storage.
On purpose I do not add further elements because it would simply assume and shoot on the Red Cross, by virtue of these days that will surely come we'll see more leaks and juicy rumors about the Xiaomi Mi LEX. Personally I believe in the existence of this device, which could prove to be an economic or Lite version of the future Mi Mix 3, as happened with the Mi 8 series. And what do you think?
