Xiaomi Mi Max 2 spotted on GeekBench

Now is the time for it Xiaomi Mi Max 2 to be revealed to the public, in fact for this afternoon is scheduled the press conference in which Xiaomi will confirm or deny all rumors regarding the expected phablet. But apparently the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has already peeped near GeekBench, and a test reveals some of the more or less interesting features.

From what emerges from GeekBench test, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will be powered by an octacore Qualcomm processor with a clock frequency of up to 2.0 GHz. 4 GB of RAM that would guarantee fluidity and experience of satisfying use. But as a CPU, GeekBench suggests that the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will be powered by the SoC MSM8953 (Snapdragon 625), even though rumors pushed for adoption of the Snapdragon 626.

It should be noted that the Snapdragon 626 processor is known as MSM8953 Pro, and therefore this test may disappoint some expectations that the fans nurtured towards the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but the denial or not of this news can only be given by the company this afternoon.

Snapdragon 625 and Snapdragon 626 are quite similar CPUs in terms of specifications, both have a Cortex A-53 architecture and Adreno 506 GPU, but Snapdragon 626 can actually boast at least 10% faster than clock speed maximum of 2.2 GHz, and can support dual cameras and UHD and 4K video playback.

For the rest of the specifications, the GeekBench test reveals that the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will be equipped with a 6,44 inch display and 128 GB internal memory, although an 64 GB version of internal storage is expected. The rear camera should be a 12 megapixel, while the front camera should have a 5 megapixel and Android 7.1.1 Nougat should be the soul of the MIUI 8 interface. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will come back in average market share having company at Redmi Note 4 version Snapdragon launched in India in February and recently decreed as it did best-selling smartphone in the country in the first quarter of this year.

We hope this is a good wish for the new phia of Xiaomi home that apparently will have a pretty intriguing and unique design, but will have to compete with many rivals. If the Snapdragon 625 CPU really needs to be adopted, do you think Xiaomi has made a smart move?
