If you are a person behind the world of tech news, you will no doubt know that poco time ago OnePlus presented two new devices: OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. The quality of these smartphones is excellent but as we know, not all that glitters is gold. Just purchased, in fact, many users have complained about problems related to the green display and found themselves in return the brand new product. Xiaomi also seems to have the same concern with a new device, that is Xiaomi MiNote 10 Lite. Some units appear to suffer from green displays.

As for the company of Pete Lau, which by the way is going to switch to Oppo according to the latest rumors, it was initially announced that the problem would have been solved via OTA update. Subsequently, however, including that the damage could have another nature, it was decided for the withdrawal of the units affected by green display and the subsequent refund / return. Xiaomi will probably have to respond to the same way since Mi Note 10 Lite suffers from the same ailment.
As you can see in this video, a left we have a Mi 10 Lite while a right a Mi Note 10 Lite. The effect is the same as we saw on OnePlus 8 Pro: when the unit shows an image or a video with a gray background, the effect caused by the (remember that it has a refresh rate fixed at 60Hz) is what you see, or a color change from gray (left) to green (right). Normally this problem occurs when the device is used with not too high brightness and is therefore more highlighted during the night. Below the same effect but on video lesson.
At the moment, very few testimonials from users who have noticed this problem have been collected. We don't know if it will be resolved through OTA update or if it is a factory defect but without a doubt the competent team of Xiaomi is already aware of it of this problem. We advise you to report it, if they have not already done so, on the Mi Community to speed up the resolution process.
Hopefully this is a software problem and can be solved with a trivial one corrective update.

i encountered same problem with pixel 4 ... from green to gray to red / purple ... sucks, had google replace twice and identical problem on all 2 units ... i gave up
