The 5 July 2016, of the "stolen" images of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook they had shown what design would almost certainly have been. The specifications also arrive today which largely confirm what the rumors were about possible components.
According to the specifications leaked on BenchLife.info, the well-known Chinese portal of IT, the Mi Ultrabook will have a screen from 13 inches and will mount a Intel 6th gen Skylate i7-6500U CPU clocked at 2.50GHz. Also confirmed Ram 8GB and a probable SSD disk.
In terms of connectivity, Xiaomi has made the “strong” choice of charging via USB Type C port, tracing the MacBookPro not only from an aesthetic point of view, but also from a technical one. In fact, Apple is pushing a lot on this standard trying to unify the connections between iPhone, iPad, Power Bank, etc with a single type of plug.
The choice of USB Type-C will guarantee broad compatibility with new smartphones, higher transmission speeds (3.1 is twice as fast as 3.0) and greater charging power thanks to the transfer capacity of 100 Watts per hour. .
In the past there was talk of 2 variants of the Mi Notebook but the information at the time only confirm the version from 13 inches that place this product in the "notebook" range. However, it is not possible to exclude a possible, indeed probable, Ultrabook variant from 11 inches.
The presentation of the Mi Notebook is close, the 27 July the Xiaomi will finally reveal all the details of both configurations.
