We all love Xiaomi for the vast portfolio of smartphones for all budgets ranging from Redmi to the MIX series, but perhaps even more people are fans of the Chinese giant for the endless amount of gadgets for smartphones, PCs and more, easily purchased online at prices almost always cheap despite the high build quality.
Among these gadgets, perhaps the most useful to the "common" user is the power bank. It's hard to get in the evening with a single recharge and you could say the same of your laptops, which after a few hours of use have a normal decrease in autonomy.
Xiaomi Mi Power Bank with 45W charging will cost 199 Yuan (25 €)
Xiaomi therefore has a new solution, a power bank with high capacity and power. The Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 3 has indeed a 20000mAh battery and the possibility to deliver it to a laptop with a maximum power of 45W. This will allow you to recharge many of the latest generation of laptops, such as the latest Apple MacBook series, the new Xiaomi Notebook and the Nintendo Switch.
The 45W charging takes place through the USB Type-C port, to which a smartphone or laptop can be connected. There are also two type A ports (old style) for charging any other product via USB. This port supports 5V / 2.4A, 9V / 2A, 12V / 1.5A modes and can be used for low-power devices such as Bluetooth headphones, Mi Band, etc. If instead both are used, there is a maximum total power of 15W (5V / 3A).
To recharge the Mi Power Bank, you use the included 10W charger, with it the power bank will recharge in 11 hours. If instead we use a 45W charger connected to the USB Type-C port, we can recharge it to 45W in just four and a half hours.
Finally, as regards the design, the Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 3 has an all-metal body, with the upper and lower part in glossy ceramic.
The Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 3 will go on sale (in China) on January 11 at the price of 199 Yuan, about 25 euros.
