We waited for a long time and finally it was officially presented. The mysterious product presented today that has kept us glued to the screen to read rumor and indiscretions is the Xiaomi Mi TV 3. The most important peculiarity of this new generation, before proceeding to analyze all the technical characteristics, is the price: in China it will just cost 4999 RMB which, at the exchange rate, is equivalent to approx. 700 €.
Already only for the sale price and assuming that this third generation is better than the second generation would be worth buying. In fact, the Xiaomi Mi TV 3 is better than the Xiaomi Mi TV 2. But let's go with order by first analyzing the design and then the technical features.
As you can see from the pictures, the frames are as subtle as they are almost non-existent thickness of Mi TV 3 (11,6 mm in the thinnest point and 36,7 mm at the most point) make this product extremely attractive. If we add that the body is entirely made of aluminum it really wants to buy it.
To dominate the scene of the technical features is the immense display from 60 inches with 4K resolution made by LG, one of the industry leaders. This is not a display with OLED technology, but in any case the technology at its base guarantees a very high contrast as well as a wide range of colors.
Managing video playback on the display is a dedicated processor 6M60 MEMC which allows you to have no wake effect in moving images (it is the same Trilumison technology used by Sony but only with a different name).
If video playback is great, it is also audio, thanks to the presence of a soundbar containing 4 different speakers from 2,5 inches capable of reproducing a lot of audio frequencies (from 60 Hz to 22 KHz) and with a higher volume of 67% than media.
