Concurrently with the presentation of the two new Super flagships from Xiaomi, the company revealed to the public another device that is also very interesting and with relevant specifications. What are we talking about ?! But of course the new line of Xiaomi smart TVs, namely the We TV 3S. Let's find out what new stuff brings with it.
Basically, this new Mi TV 3S is available with two different display diagonals, in addition to the fact that the type / supplier of the same also varies, however a version with a Home Theater system is also available (of course, both have an integrated audio system consisting of from 4 speakers). Both have a 4K resolution display (3840 x 2160 pixels) with HDR support but speaking of differences, the 55 ″ inch version has an IPS panel made by LG, while the 65 ″ inch version comes from Samsung . Both have an anodized aluminum alloy frame that measures just 9,9mm at the narrowest point, while 37,6mm at the thickest point.
Inside we find a 966-bit quad-core Amlogic T4 CPU (1,8 x 53 GHz, all A64) associated with a quad-core Mali-T830 GPU. The latter, of course, supports playback of 4K content at 60fps, as well as support for OpenGL 3.1, H.265 hardware decoding and a hardware DTS and Dolby decoder. In addition, we find 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage (eMMC), Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac.
An absolute novelty is the presence of a new puzzle-style graphic interface called Patch Wall which for the first time integrates an artificial intelligence called Mi Brain into a smart TV able to recommend the contents to be displayed based on our habits. (learns automatically). However, Xiaomi has not revealed further details on this AI (artificial intelligence), besides the fact that this technology is currently only available with Chinese content.
Speaking of the Home Theater edition, there is not much to say, since it is nothing more than a 3 X TV 65S inches with an additional audio system (beyond, of course, the one already integrated) that includes a new Mi Bar, two rear speakers and a completely redesigned new subwoofer.
Finally, with regard to the prices of the three versions, we have:
- I TV 3S 65 "Home Theater: 5999 Yuan (about 800 €);
- Me TV 3S 65 ": 4999 Yuan (less than 670 €);
- Me TV 3S 55 ": 3499 Yuan (less than 470 €).
