The Xiaomi Mi Watch will undoubtedly be one of the most interesting wearables we will have seen in this 2019, except for the fact that it will be the first real smartwatch produced and sold under the Xiaomi brand. Which is why today we are going to find out some more details of the long awaited device that will be officially announced on 5 November.
Xiaomi Mi Watch: Reveal additional colors and features
Let's start with the design that we can now see up close, thanks to the renderings just published by the Chinese brand. In the image above we can in fact admire the new digital crown positioned in the upper right corner, in addition to the rounded and very refined shapes of the metal case. The latter will also be available in at least two colors: black and silver.
In the front we find a sapphire crystal with four curved edges for excellent scratch resistance and a very elegant look.
Finally, with regard to the straps, Xiaomi has confirmed the presence of a quick release mechanism (fast release) to be able to change them quickly and effortlessly. In any case, those available for launch will be made of an anti-allergic and anti-sweat fluorinated rubber, in the colors that we can see in the image below.
But a device is not just design and hardware, that's why the Mi Watch also equips various features that are difficult to find on other smartwatches on the market. The Xiaomi wearable will in fact be able to play music that can be downloaded directly to the smartwatch and listened to via Bluetooth headphones or speakers without needing a smartwatch.
We then have Xiaomi's AI assistant to ask for information, make a call and even check all the other Xiaomi ecosystem gadgets.
Finally, for the sporting side, the Xiaomi Mi Watch will equip different motion sensors and a heart rate sensor so that we can give an account of our physical activities during the day or show us the varying of the beat.

I am the owner of the Xiaomi m9t and the Xiaomi Pace, I am very happy with your products and will buy the Mi Watch when it is on the market. I would like to focus your attention on notifications, I wear glasses just like most people on earth at a certain age. I would like and hope that we can enlarge the characters for incoming notifications, so that we can read what arrives. That would be a great thing. I think it is appreciated by many.
