As we anticipated yesterday, Xiaomi today presented the new Mi Watch Lite, a smartwatch with not too exciting features and that we already know with the name of Redmi Watch. The Mi Watch Lite is in fact a rebrand in the Global version of the wearable presented in China a few weeks ago.

So let's see the specifications starting from the display, a 1,44-inch TFT-type panel with a resolution of 320 × 320 pixels, automatic brightness adjustment and a pixel density of 323 ppi. The Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite supports at least 120 different watch faces with the ability to choose the information you want to display on the screen.
Xiaomi's smartwatch is then equipped with an automatic pedometer with support for 11 training modes. These include outdoor running, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, treadmill, swimming, freestyle, cricket, trekking, trail run and walking. Moreover, thanks to its waterproofness up to 50ATM and the indoor swimming mode, it will be able to take into account strokes and much more, making it very useful for those who practice swimming.
On the Mi Watch Lite we also have the functions of sleep monitoring, heart rate monitoring and guided breathing, which are supposed to help relieve stress levels. The rest of the features include incoming calls, SMS and app notification alerts, music control, inactivity alerts, phone search, and weather reports.
The smartwatch then sees an upgrade in the tracking sector with the presence of a GPS module, GLONASS and even a barometer, so as to be able to keep track of the various physical activities carried out. While the autonomy settles at 9 days of "normal" use thanks to the integrated 230mAh battery that can be recharged in about two hours.
Finally, the Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite will be available in three different colors for the case: beige, black and blue; and 5 colors for the straps: black, beige, pink, green and blue. And no, we have not forgotten, the NFC module is not yet received.
As for the cost, Xiaomi has not yet communicated it but we expect, or at least we hope, a price of less than 50 euros.
