In addition to the Mi 10T family, which includes the new ones Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro and Mi 10T Pro, Xiaomi also presented what is the first real smartwatch produced by the Chinese brand: we welcome the Xiaomi Mi Watch.
Xiaomi Mi Watch official: 16 days of autonomy and 117 sports modes at 119 €
Let's start by specifying that the Xiaomi Mi Watch arrives with a completely different design and hardware from the Mi Watch presented in China at the beginning of the year. This means we can put aside any hope of seeing the Chinese Mi Watch in our country, but poco bad. Our Mi Watch adopts a sportier design with a round case that integrates a 1,39-inch display, AMOLED type and with a maximum brightness of 450 nits. On the display we will be able to set over 100 watch faces from the moment it is turned on and there is a 2.5D glass cover with oleophobic treatment.
The Mi Watch is then powered by a 420mAh battery for 16 days of use on a single charge and has a magnetic charger for a faster and safer connection. Then we have Bluetooth 5.0 BLE connectivity, 5ATM waterproofness and a weight of only 32 grams (not including the strap).
As for the sensors instead, the wearable integrates an optimized PPG heart rate sensor (SpO2), a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, air pressure sensor, ambient light sensor and GPS.
While from a feature standpoint, the Mi Watch has a dedicated sport button that gives users instant access to a choice of 117 exercise modes. There is also 24-hour monitoring of many essential health metrics, including accurate heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen monitoring, and additional indicators on users' sleep cycles, stress levels, and levels of energy to ensure complete awareness of one's health.
The Xiaomi Mi Watch is also a great companion to make our daily life smarter. From the smartwatch it is in fact possible to activate the shutter mode of the camera to easily take photos directly from the wrist, receive messages and notifications with fun native emojis incorporated and enjoy the voice control of Amazon Alexa.
Xiaomi's smartwatch will go on sale at the price of 119 €, but we still have no info on its availability.
Are there any updates on when it will be presented?
