This feature added 16 "little habits“, So called by the brand, like drink a glass of water, get up from the chair, take a walk o stretch your back. We already know this feature since it is present on Xiaomi Mi Band 5 and Xiaomi Mi Band 4 (through third-party apps). Functionality particularly appreciated by selfie lovers, it allows take photos from your smartphone without needing to use it. Putting it in the distance for example, you can take a group photo while actually being in the group. Often the countdown to take these photos, with the complication that sometimes the shot is moved.

Voice reminder and vibration for workouts

A third novelty that the OTA update brings with it is the possibility of remember a particular workout through the voice reminder. In addition it is possible to do the same thing via the vibration of the device. The interface has been improved which makes all the parameters of our workouts known as the physical conditions that change in real time while running. After exercise it is possible share the results, upload an image as “default” for the workout or add text on that image.

Watch Faces

With this update, more than 100 new animated and non-animated watchfaces have been added. Among them are dials dedicated to traditional Chinese cartoons or even Xiao Ai, the voice assistant who gives poco received a "real" form.

Instant translator

Thanks to the efforts of Tencent, an instant translator in the style of Google Translate, called Tencent Translator. It is a real-time voice dialogue translation software produced by Tencent, which allows one accurate translation and simple operation. It supports live simultaneous interpretation, real-time subtitles and features 3 languages ​​for translation simultaneous: Chinese-English, Chinese-Japanese and Chinese-Korean.

English language

The English language support, long last. This means that even if we buy Xiaomi Mi Watch from China, it will be possible to use it in English without having to mod the device in any way. A small step towards users overall which, however, will not be entirely happy until the device arrives on a permanent basis.
