Last 6 April Xiaomi organized a Mi Festival in India, a day of flash rooms where users could buy smartphones and accessories. Well, over the past few hours, the results have been published, and we have to say that despite being accustomed to the great Xiaomi numbers, we were again hit.
Over the course of just one day the Chinese giant managed to sell 100 a thousand units of Xiaomi Mi5 and Xiomi Redmi Note 3. As mentioned, this is an incredible result that, despite not being a world record, is one of the best Indian salt flashes for the giant. By expanding the sphere of numbers, Xiaomi announced that around 1,2 millions of users visited the Mi.com site from India on that day. Also, when launching a new game in the Mi Store, downloads were about 2 million.
In short, wherever you go, Xiaomi always succeeds in leaving the mark and, considering that India will be one of the major markets over the next few years, the company is in a good position to further increase its market share .
The words that Manu Kumar Jain, director of the Indian section of Xiaomi said, were:
Having sold more than 100,000 units in one day on Mi.com is one of the biggest milestones for us this year. This is the first time we have sold these many units on a single day and we are extremely thankful to all of our fans for their overwhelming support for Mi India.
In the hope that one day we could provide news like that also regarding the Italian market, we want to remind you to take a look at our comparison of the best Chinese top of the range of the moment | Xiaomi Mi5 vs. Huawei P9 vs Huawei P9 Plus: Comparative Specifications |.
