As you will know, Xiaomi has decided to introduce and then market three different variants of Mi5. Apparently different only in the processor clock and in the back shell, maybe not everyone knows that Xiaomi Mi5 Pro (that is, the ceramic version with 128 GB internal storage) comes with a LPDDR4 RAM memory slightly overclocked with respect to the base variant. This is definitely a more marginal difference than the clock frequency difference but still contributes to raising its performance. But how much are they improving?
To answer this question we rely on the review posted on the official MIUI forum regarding the Xiaomi Mi5 Pro and, more specifically, on the AnTuTu benchmark test which, we recall, takes into consideration not only the CPU and GPU but also the department of flash memories. The result obtained is to say the least poco amazing, since we're talking about 179,566 points. Considering that the Samsung Galaxy S7 stops "only" 125 thousands of points in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 variant, we can see how great work done by Xiaomi engineers and developers was amazing and the great wait for us users has been widely repayed.
Before leaving, we want to briefly remember the technical features of this super smartphone:
- 5,15-inch display with Full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protective glass;
- SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with 64 quad core CPU and Adreno 530 GPU;
- 4 GB of RAM memory;
- 128 GB of non-expandable UFS 2.0 internal storage;
- 16 Megapixel rear camera with OIS to 4 axes;
- Front 4 MP Camera;
- Fingerprint sensor;
- Dual SIM connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC
- Battery from 3000 mAh with support for the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 standard
