After so many words and so many announcements made by Xiaomi, who does not expect the newest processor to be present Pinecone aboard the expected Mi5c!?

Caution. You might be disappointed.

Uno screenshot emerged recently would seem to prove that the new "small" Xiaomi home smartphone would have the processor Snapdragon under his own body.

We know very well about Xiaomi's moves that, having tried the daring road of vertical integration with their component vendors as some articles say ago, have also often shifted their fans' attention from smartphones to tablets, then switch to domotics and why not even the motion or car technology.

The last move, before the rearview mirror was launched, had been the promise of the presentation of the first processor of ownership for the February 28. And everything is confirmed. But this is not the point.

We expect the announcement of the new presence SoC Xiaomi Pinecone aboard the first smartphone entirely developed within the Chinese company and all imagined that it could be Mi5c.

However, this screenshot would prove the opposite.

The specifications shown seem realistic, although not confirmed:

  • SoC (Snapdragon 821/ Snapdragon 625?) Quad-core @2.35GHz
  • Conference proceedings RAM from 4 GB
  • Memoria interna from 64 GB
  • Android 7.1.1
  • MIUI 8

Although the news comes fragmented and extremely confused by the leakers, it is Xiaomi Mi5c he is talking about himself exactly as a year ago his older brother, the Xiaomi Mi5 Pro, was talking about himself.

A small note I would like to do it: the source speaks of Snapdragon 625 but, as is easily verifiable, the SoC of Qualcomm it does not reach the 2.35 GHz maximum clock, so it probably will not be considered true.

Will it be just a test screenshot? Who knows. Meanwhile we wait for the conference on Tuesday 28 February!
