Xiaomi, one of the leading companies in the smartphone and smart appliances sector, today launched its new kitchen product on the market: the Mijia Smart Smoke Purifier and Stove Set S2, that is, a set consisting of an extractor hood and a gas cooker, both equipped with intelligent functions and interconnected with each other.

The Mijia Smart Smoke Purifier and Stove Set S2 has a launch price of 3699 yuan (about 470 euros) and will be on sale from tonight on Xiaomi's official website and on JD.com.
The Mijia Smart Smoke Purifier is one extractor hood that uses dynamic particle capture technology, capable of eliminating oil smoke, unpleasant odors and fine particles such as PM2.5, forming a safe breathing zone. Furthermore, it generates a barrier of clean air through the front BLDC fan, which prevents smoke from spreading into the environment.
The extractor hood is equipped with a Integrated PM2.5 sensor, the same as the Mijia air purifier, which monitors the air quality in the kitchen in real time. If PM2.5 exceeds the standard, the hood turns on automatically.
The extractor hood It also supports gesture control, which allows you to turn it on, off and adjust the strength of the wind with a simple movement of the hand. Alternatively, you can control the hood remotely, set cleaning reminders, activate the smart drying function and other functions via the Mijia app or Xiaoai voice assistant.
The Mijia Smart Gas Stove is a gas stove offering a power of 5200W and a thermal efficiency of 68%, capable of generating a flame at a temperature of up to 230°C. The cooker supports timing from 1 to 180 minutes, and automatically turns off the flame and gas when the set time is reached. This system guarantees greater protection and safety, preventing you from forgetting the stove turned on.
The stove is designed so that, when you turn on the flame, the vent on the extractor hood automatically opens. In this way, a connection is created between the two devices, which synchronize to optimize ventilation and air purification.
The set is available from today in China, but at the moment there is no information on its possible international marketing.
