Xiaomi has just launched the new one in China Mijia Sweeping and Mopping Robot M30 S, with a starting price of 2999 yuan (385 euros).

The Mijia M30 S stands out for the use of a mechanical arm that cleans along the edges, simulating the natural movement of a human arm. This technology, combined with high-precision real-time edge-to-edge distance measurement, allows the robot to automatically extend the mop and thoroughly clean near walls, table legs and chairs, achieving a up to 99% edge cleaning coverage.
Another notable feature is the real-time hair clipping system, which cuts hair and pet hair wrapped around the main roller during cleaning, sucking the broken hair directly into the main unit's dust box. The optimized axle structure reduces the problem of hair tangling on the side axle of the main roller, making cleaning and maintenance easier.
Power-wise, the M30 S comes with a ultra-powerful 7300Pa suction, which offers high suction and efficient dust removal, easily addressing blind spots such as cracks in the floor and hard-to-clean deep carpets.
The robot is also equipped with a high temperature hot water washing and drying system. Hot water up to 60°C can clean the mop, easily dissolving stubborn stains such as gravy and making the mop cleaner. Furthermore, it can be dried with hot air in just 2 hours, without the need for hand washing or sun drying, preventing mold and odor.
On the intelligence front, the Mijia Sweeping and Mopping Robot M30 S is equipped with the S-Cross large area structured light obstacle avoidance system, which can detect low obstacles with an ultra-wide angle of 110°, avoiding them deftly.
Finally, the entire range of Mijia cleaning and polishing robots supports Xiaomi HyperOS Smart connect, which allows you to connect to Xiaomi smart devices such as door locks and air purifiers, for automatic cleaning when you leave home, activate the air purifier after cleaning, and customize unique connection scenarios.
