Going into detail, Xiaomi would have requested the registration of the trademarks "Xiaomi Modena", "MODENAT", "XIAOMI MODENA" and "MIMODENA". The international classification includes means of transport, scientific instruments and buildings.
It was previously reported that Xiaomi's first car would be a mid-size fastback sedan (internal codename Modena), and that it would be available in two versions, but their price has not yet been determined. In addition, people close to Xiaomi said that Xiaomi is still developing a second mass-produced car (internal codename Lemans), which is expected to be launched in 2025.

As for the progress of the whole project, Lei Jun said that last September, Xiaomi's prototype car rolled off the production line as planned, and winter testing started at the end of December.
In terms of automobile production, Xiaomi has built its own automobile base in Yizhuang, Beijing, with its sales headquarters and R&D headquarters. Xiaomi plans to build a complete vehicle factory with an annual output of 300000 vehicles in two stages. The first and second phases will each have a production capacity of 150000 vehicles.
