Xiaomi, the Chinese giant, notorious for its excellent phones (but not only) of the competitive price, finally gives a strong signal of expansion to the old continent, officially landing in Spain with its physical stores.
The confirmation is of the last few hours and is shared directly on Twitter by "Mi España", as you can see below.
The news, which had already circulated some time ago in an unofficial way through the portal El Español, does nothing but confirm as the target of the 2000 physical stores to open in the 3 years both a project already started. Among other things, let us not forget that the Chinese producer has already acquired Greek citizenship, where news of the opening of the physical store in the town of Marousi dates back to early June.
Lastly, the present situation also sees some thirty stores in the farthest Russia, witnessing the already consolidated commitment to creating physical presence in the area.
At the time of writing we still know poco about the type of policy that Xiaomi intends to pursue in Spain. However, we expect the rumors leaked to date to be confirmed, materializing with theopening a Mi Store hosted in the mall Xanadu a Madrid. Otherwise, the works would seem to have already begun for a long time and the inauguration would be planned by November of this year.
In any case, from the standpoint of support, Xiaomi has already published a Spanish version of the app Mi Home, both for iOS and for Android. It would seem that only smartphones will not be presented, but the whole, vast, ecosystem will be available.
