Xiaomi finally he decided to listen to us and bring the Mi Band 6 NFC even on European soil. The sixth generation smartband is the first that allows, here with us, to proceed with payments via NFC chip. All thanks to an agreement with Mastercard which, we remember, is departed from Russia. But what if the Chinese giant took a further step forward in this regard? In fact, it seems that i NFC payments with Xiaomi will go through straps called NFC Pay Strap. The leader of Xiaomi India today unveiled NFC Pay Strap, a new system (even quite original in fact) of bringing the NFC chip to the company's smartwatches. In very few words it is a strap inside which an NFC sensor is placed. Being an accessory applicable to different wearables (clearly compatible), we can easily understand that it heralds a small revolution: if Xiaomi produced smartwatches and smart bands compatible with this strap, we could say goodbye to crazy prices for payment-enabled devices.

As anticipated, he was the one in charge of the Indian division to announce this news. News that, however, has not yet debuted, but which will do so soon. This means that, like so many other times, the revolution will first pass through India (and probably China, even if we have no news of it) and only later, perhaps, it will arrive in Europe. In any case it is a real revolution which, if studied well, could bring not only a lot of money into the company's coffers but also many new "followers". In fact, wearables equipped with NFC chips are few and sometimes expensive. We'll see.
