Xiaomi has recently officially confirmed that it is working on a new smartphone with top-of-the-range features whose trade name will be chosen by users through a survey already underway. Analyzing the eligible names we note that all 4, that is Xiaomi Max, Xiaomi Pro, Xiaomi Plus and Xiaomi Big, they can only refer to a very generous smartphone.
According to what was leaked on the net following this survey conducted by Xiaomi, the smartphone in question should have a 6,4-inch display while the internal SoC should be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. As you surely know, it is the same SoC used inside Xiaomi Mi5 and also the rest of the specifications should be similar, except of course for the battery. This would mean that the management would forcefully enter the sector between the 7-inch tablet and the 5,5-inch phablet.
According to the current survey results (not yet finished), the name most popular to users is Xiaomi Big with about 13.000 preferences. We would not really like a smartphone with this name, but we would rather like the second user preference, or Xiaomi Max (about 11.700 users voted it).
