The Quange brand, part of the Xiaomi ecosystem, has just launched a new product for the home on the official Youpin website. This is the Quange Smart Garbage Bin GA1 which adds to the particularly long list of smart dustbins for sale on the Xiaomi platform. The new product comes with a price of 99 yuan, or 13 euros at the current exchange rate, including 90 garbage bags that are given as gifts for a limited period.

Returning to the product itself, as mentioned previously, the Quange Smart Garbage Bin GA1 is an intelligent waste bin with an internal design divided into two sections with different colors (green and gray), supports intelligent garbage detection, has a touch screen with display digital and other features.
The GA1 Smart Garbage Bin can be used for multiple purposes. The user can store wet and dry waste in two different internal containers for easy separate collection, or take out the internal container and use it separately.
The smart bin uses non-contact infrared sensing technology, with a 15 degree tilt sensing area, to provide users with a fast and accurate automatic opening experience in just 0,3 seconds.
The sensors have a radius of about 20cm and you just need to wave your hand in front of the sensors to induce the opening, alternatively if you don't want to bend, you can bring your knee close to the sensors. It also supports the "always open" mode, to meet the needs of those who, for example, are cleaning the house or simply want to peel an apple over the basket.
In terms of battery life, the Quange Smart Garbage Bin GA1 is powered by 3 AA batteries, which can provide a full 3 months of battery life, so not bad. In any case, even if the battery runs out completely, it will be possible to open the recycle bin manually
